Asbestos Consulting and Assessments

According to the Texas Asbestos Health Protective Act Rules, prior to any renovation or dismantling within a public building or facility — including preparations for partial or complete demolition — a thorough asbestos inspection, by a licensed asbestos inspector, must be performed. The report must be produced upon request by the Texas Department of Health.
The presence of asbestos is a significant factor in a facility’s value and operation. eHT assists clients in managing and/or removing asbestos-contaminated materials in their facilities by providing the following services:

Mold Consulting and Assessments

As mold becomes an ever increasing concern for residential and business owners, eHT provides professional services for sampling and testing to identify mold contamination, and to subsequently prepare specifications for remediation of hazardous molds. Mold, and its toxins, can affect the health of occupants in contaminated buildings and while many molds are not harmful to one’s health, there are molds that can cause severe health-related problems. A mold survey performed by eHT identifies the types of molds present. eHT then recommends corrective action, if needed. Universally, water intrusion is the main reason for mold growth. We provide our clients with an understanding of the sources and causes and guidance for preventative measures to improve overall “building health.” By educating our clients and providing services for mold testing, we continue to improve the quality of life and respond to the needs of the communities at large. Our mold consulting services include:

  • Sampling and Testing
  • Mold Inspection and Assessment
  • Mold Remediation Plans
