Assessment and Remediation

Assessment Services

The purpose of any environmental assessment, audit, or investigation is to assess the presence, or absence of, indicators that signal potential contamination problems. eHT is routinely called on to evaluate the potential environmental liabilities posed by acquiring or owning a site. Subsurface contamination investigations are routinely conducted to determine the nature, extent and rate of migration of waste releases. The investigations provide the information the regulatory agencies will require to determine appropriate corrective measures, or to document that no corrective action is required. Our interaction with regulatory agencies and knowledge of remediation methods has allowed us to negotiate corrective measures for site remediation that minimize or eliminate long-term risks in the most cost-effective manner.

Our assessment services include:

Remediation Services

The eHT Team has been involved with projects that have included the remediation and abatement of contaminated media at LPST, RCRA and industrial waste sites. eHT personnel have been extensively involved in various types of remediation projects across the State of Texas during the past 20 years. Our personnel are cognizant of the current regulations and how they impact the investigation and cleanup of sites. Our staff understands how to approach a site under the Risk Reduction Rules, Texas Risk Reduction Program (TRRP), LPST Program, Voluntary Cleanup Program and RCRA Closure Programs. We recognize that each site is unique and the goal is to meet regulatory cleanup goals efficiently and cost-effectively.

Our remediation services include:

Corrective Action Plans

Feasibility Studies

Pilot Tests

Groundwater Recovery

Implementation of Remedial Technologies such as Vapor Extraction, Bioremediation, Soil Venting and Air Sparging

Water, Soil and Air Treatment
