CLIENT: City of Sweetwater |
LOCATION: Sweetwater, TX |
The City of Sweetwater retained eHT to provide project management, design and construction management for a 750,000-gallon elevated water storage tank (EST). The project was part of an overall water system improvement project utilizing funding through the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF). The existing EST had reached the end of its original service life and rehabilitation would be more costly than replacement due to structural repairs and tank modifications required to obtain compliance with current TCEQ requirements for finished water tanks. The City’s hydraulic model was utilized to determine proper sizing and location for the new tank.
