eHT provided engineering design and project management services for the Caprock Ridge residential development located in Abilene, Texas.  eHT coordinated with the City of Abilene (City) and Developer to have the 60-acre project site annexed into the City limits and to modify the City’s Master Thoroughfare Plan.  Additionally, during the initial phase of development eHT assisted with rezoning efforts to convert the project site from agricultural zoning to appropriate residential zoning as well as completing a detailed topographic and boundary survey to support subdivision design and platting.  eHT provided engineering design and construction layout staking services for the necessary infrastructure improvements that included over 4,900 linear feet of Hot Mix Asphalt Concrete (HMAC) streets, potable water and sanitary sewer utility expansion, site grading and stormwater runoff mitigation (on-site detention pond).
