eHT provided project management and design for improvements to the Grimes Water Treatment Plant for the City of Abilene. The project goals were to improve the reliability of plant processes to comply with TCEQ requirements through enhancing filtration and chemical feed systems. Services included replacing filter media in gravity filters, modifying filter-to-waste piping, adding surface wash capabilities to the filters and miscellaneous other improvements. Process improvements include the installation of a new Ferrous Chloride bulk storage tank; new fiberglass building; day tank, transfer pump and metering pumps; and new electric and control wiring and programming modifications.
