CLIENT: City of Breckenridge |
LOCATION: Breckenridge, TX |
Prior to the TXDOT rehabilitation of US 183 North in Breckenridge, the City was required to replace and/or relocate the existing water utilities within the right-of-way. eHT provided project management, design and construction administration for the water line relocation project. The work was expedited in order to address an aged water main that was under the roadway and often leaked and required frequent repairs. The project included more than 6,000 linear feet of 6-inch thru 10-inch HDPE DR-11 water line along with steel encasement, valves, service lines and fire hydrants. The City hired a utility contractor to install the improvements and was then reimbursed by TXDOT once the work was complete. eHT coordinated with the TXDOT - Brownwood District on behalf of the City from beginning to end. The project provided approximately $1.4 million of improvements.
