CLIENT: City of Granbury |
LOCATION: Granbury, TX |
eHT provided planning and design of Phase I which was an 8-foot-wide concrete trail traversing 2.17 miles from the Granbury Regional Airport to Shaley Park, north of the historic downtown square. Along the trail, nine plaques are displayed and dedicated to various historical individuals, places and attributes of the City.
Phase II of the project includes 1,100 feet of trail starting at the Rucker Street and Crockett Street intersection and includes a new five-foot concrete sidewalk and a bike lane in Rucker Street. At the Lambert Court intersection, the sidewalk and bike lane join and create an 8-foot wide lane. The project included a 326 foot hike and bike pedestrian steel bridge spanning Lake Granbury and connecting to an existing trail within a residential subdivision.
