In conjunction with the design of a new surface water treatment plant, eHT designed a transfer pump station to deliver potable water to several municipal utility districts (MUDs) in the area. The pump station is fed by a common 48-inch diameter suction line from the 1.5 million gallon clearwell at the plant site and has the ability to independently send water to MUDs within the northern or southern service areas. The pump station will be built-out in three phases to match production capacity of the WTP. The first phase incorporated two 3,000 gallon per minute (gpm) horizontally split case pumps to pump water to the south service area and two 2,000 gpm horizontally split case pumps to pump water to the north service area.
