The water supply for the City of Winters has diminished due to ongoing drought conditions. The City developed a Drought Management Strategies Report to investigate potential water supply options to supplement their surface water source. As part of the report, eHT flow tested several existing wells in the area and took water quality samples for analysis. The results helped to identify potential groundwater options available to the City and the additional infrastructure improvements necessary to incorporate the new supply. In addition, eHT assisted the City with funding applications to help pay for the identified improvements and to address additional water system upgrades.
